This season at The Firepit, we have been discussing things that adoptive parents should consider before adopting. While every adoption story is different, all share one common theme, loss. In this episode, we discuss our thoughts on whether love can either "erase" or "trump" loss. It's important to remember that no two adoption stories are the same, and we merely express our thoughts and opinions based on our lived experiences. As we discuss this topic, we share how self reflection, ownership of one's own narrative, and seeking a supportive village can aid in healing and self discovery.
